The Story
SafeTNZ was born from a simple observation: safety compliance software in New Zealand is either prohibitively expensive or painfully outdated. Small and medium businesses in high-risk industries were being left behind.
We saw an opportunity to build something better. Using modern cloud infrastructure from Cloudflare, we could create a platform that's faster, more reliable, and significantly more affordable than anything else on the market.
More importantly, we could build it specifically for New Zealand. No irrelevant international compliance modules. No features designed for regulatory environments that don't apply here. Just focused, practical tools for HSWA 2015 compliance.
We're starting small, with a single pilot customer in the agricultural contracting sector. This deliberate approach lets us refine the platform based on real feedback before expanding. Quality over speed.
